Word Art won't print or appear in preview using Office X for Mac

Word Art objects appear on the screen but do not appear on print preview and
do not print. Tried different printers to no avail. I am running Mac OS
10.3 Panther on a G3 machine, using MS Office X.1.6 Graphics and text boxes
do not show up or print either. Anyone run into this before?

Do you have "Drawing objects" checked on the Print tab of Tools | Options?

On the Mac, she'll find that option on the Print tab of Word | Preferences
(though I would say simply pointing out the option exists does help people
find it--Mac users are supposed to be used to going to the Preferences menu
to set stuff).
