Word attachment saves as a GIF file ?

Hi,

I have an email with a Word doc as attachment. When I save it using right
click, it goes perfectly. However, when I use File | Save Attachment the very
same attachment saves as a GIF file.

What can be causing this? It is only happening at 1 email, others don't have
this problem. Within the email, a gif file is present (at the top of the
message).
