Unless I have more than one document open, when I select File...Close it shuts Word down completely (exits from Word). is there an option set somewhere that is telling it to do this? Any ideas? Thanks.
That happens to me also, usually accompanied by a box that says Runtime Error. Then the program shuts down. I notice that it does not happen if I wait a few minutes between saving the doc and closing it, but it's still frustrating and I cannot find a download to fix it. Any help out there w/b appreciated
