I bought mac in january, installed an original copy of office 2008. everything was fine until a few days ago when word started crashing as soon as I opened it (well before it happened after a few minutes, now after second).

I visited many forums but without use (I did the repair disk permission thing bt didnot work).

Find below the error msg that I keep sending to apple.

I hope any of you could give me a hand, am using my mac for work and now am stuck

thank you.

Me again

the msg is too long, so the most important part is omitted form above which is:

5 _CheckGetError + 383297 (in EnglishGrammar)

Without Microsoft's diagnostic tools, that error report means nothing (it's
not human-readable).

However, if it is falling over in the Grammar Checker, that could mean a
corrupted custom dictionary. It could be a few other things as well, of
course, but that's the first thing I would try...

Find your Custom Dictionary and drag it to the desktop. Reboot, and see if
there's any improvement.

If not, we'll need to go through some trouble-shooting with you.

Cheers
