I have a Word doc I have created in Word 2002 which contains 2 JPGs (total
file size 268kb). When I save it after making changes, it then bloats in size
to 2.3Mb. I have tried the suggestions in Knowledgebase article KB224663, and
it helps keep the file size down a bit, but not nearly enough, the file still
increases to 867kb in size with only adding a full stop and saving again.
I have downloaded a template from the MS templates site which contains
images and clip art, made changes and it doesn't increase dramatically in
size, so why does my document?
MS Word for the Macintosh does not have the same effect on my document, it
remains at the same size. This is a really annoying scenario and it should
not be happening in my eyes. Can anyone please help in resolving this issue?
