Word Document Repairs

Is there a way to delete a 'repair' that Word has inserted into
recovered file? It has repaired with a Bookmark that causes any clic
in the document to take me to a hidden bookmark. I tried the Word hel
on how to delete bookmarks (and checked off Hidden Bookmarks) but th
'repair bookmark' is not even on the list. Does anyone have some hel
on this item?

Are you saying that clicking a hyperlink, or a hyperlinked
cross-reference, takes you to an unexpected location in the document? Or
what happens, exactly? Please elaborate.

Strange problem. Have you tried copying the entire content of the fil
into notepad and saving it as a txt file first? That will remove al
unnecessary formatting. You can then open the txt file in word
Hopefully, the highlighting should disappear.
