Word hangs when trying to save a file or open a file

Word hangs when I try to save a file or open a file when I click on the "Look
In" drop down arrow. The same is happening with Excel and Power Point. I
have already uninstalled and reinstalled the applications and still have the
same problem. After I use the recover tool it seems to work fine. I am using
the Studen teacher edition. Can soomeone help.

Hi all,

I found out that this problem was being caused by my non working network
drive. I unmapped my network drive and I am now able to save without word
hanging up.
