word/s insert

Does word support a function that allows the user to insert a repetitive word
or words in a document. I would like if I type a name or address in one
location and have it automatically fill in other areas of the document.

Thank you in advance

Using REF fields, bookmarks, and ASK fields, you can work with this type of
repetition in a variety of ways. The Word help on these topics is brief, but
does include some examples. Bookmarks are inserted from the Insert menu, and
used carefully, could mark the spot where you want to user to insert the name
and/or address. A REF field is inserted from Insert>Field, and can repeat
the contents of your bookmark at other locations in your document. An ASK
field (also found in Insert>Field) can request info from the user when it is
updated, and store it in a bookmark which could be referenced with a REF
field.

Alan,

I utilizing Word/Access intregation and I'm having serious trouble getting
this to work when I want to repeat fields. Have you come across this in
Access/Word Template. I tried the cross reference but the value is not
displayed in the results.
