Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel How do I skip all repeated words. My documents intentionally use repeat words but the spell checker always stops at each one. The ignore all and the add functions are not available

The spelling checker will always stop at repeated words.

Your only option is not to use Spelling.

Argh Thanks again.

I work with aboriginal groups who all use repeated names like Yorta Yorta and I don't trust my spellling.

{Giggle} Don't know what you mean :)

I spent a couple of years in Nhulunbuy and Yirrkala :)

For things such as proper names, you can use a work-around. Add a fixed
space (an en space) between the two words. Word will then not recognise the
combination as a "repeated word".

Use Insert>Symbol>Special Characters...

Well thanks again. My Word docs are covered in yorta yorta or wadi wadi and so the spell check stops at every line to spell check as it recognises a repeat word. the en space fixed it and again I thank you.
