Word start

In my Word VBA application there is an option that makes a dialog appear
immediately when Word starts (coded in an AutoExec module).
In that module, I would also like to find out HOW Word was started, i.e. if
the user clicked a program command/icon, or a Word document?
Is that possible?

Hi Bo,

a simple way would be, to check the path of the activedocument.
If Word was not started with a file,
the path is empty.
