word status bar

dear community

when I open a word document with, say 5 pages, i can see that at first page,
the status bar display - Page 1 - but there is no display of - 1 / 5 (those
page of page) -

how can i activate the "page of page" display.

and

when I use the Print Label option to print out a number of labels into a new
document, how come the new page no doubt display out the label accordingly
but there is no line, something like those of a table (with col & row) draw
unless i use the All Border to draw a line.

Please assist me in these two problem

For the second problem, choose Show Gridlines on the Table menu. For the
first, make sure that, if you are in Normal view, you have background
repagination enabled (Tools | Options | General).

thanks ! the table grid now shown but the 1st problem - I still cannot get it
to display at the Word Document status bar > (page of page) <.......... I
only have the Page indicator display only
