Word Viewer ???? when open word doc from Outlook

I am new to Outlook 2003.

When I launch a word doc from a attachment it seems to open in some strange
word Viewer, I do not want this. How can I turn it off?

This is a Word option not Outlook. In word; Tools-> Options-> tab Genereal->
Allow starting in Reading Layout
