Word XP and Outlook 2003 mail editor

We have installed Outlook 2003 but are still using Office
XP and the Mail editor will not work in Outlook now,
really can't afford to update everyone at this time to
the full version of Office 2003, is there a way for the
two to work together?

No, You can only select Word as the e-mail editor if it is the same version
as Outlook.
