Words go right to left

When typing a document in Word 2000 (Windows Xp HOme),
the words appear going toward the left margin, rather
than the right.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Sounds like your Normal.dot file is set up with the Normal Style to be
right-aligned. try this:

1. Open Word
2. Click "Format", "Styles"
3. Select the "Normal" style and click "Modify".
4. Click the "Format" button, then select "Paragraph".
5. Click the dropdown arrow at the top left and change the alignment from
"Right" to "Left".
6. Click "OK".
7. Click "Add to template", then "OK" again.
8. Close Word and re-open.

It should overwrite your existing "normal.dot" file with this change and be
fixed.
