I have a form users are submitting to a MOSS document library.
I have also designed a state machine workflow that that uses simple, custom
InfoPath forms for the tasks/states instead of the built in ones.
What I'm wondering is if there is a way to open the custom WF initiation
form if I set the WF to start when a new item is added to the document
library? (i.e. When the user submits the main InfoPath form)
When I set the WF to be started manually, I get the custom task form upon
kicking off the workflow. However, when I set the WF to automatically start,
I am not getting a redirect, or anything to the custom task form when the
initial form is submitted.
Any insights? It would be appreciated.
