Check in a couple of places:
Tools/Change Working Time set Sat/Sun as working days by selecting the
entire column. This avoids changing just one day.

Tools/Options/Calendar (tab) change hours per week, etc.

If you have resources assigned, make sure they are using the correct
calendar. On the resource sheet verify the correct Base Calendar name. Also,
if you are going to use resources, make sure to load personal calendars
appropriately specifying 7 day weeks, vacations, etc.

New calendars can be created from Tools/Change Working Time and selecting
Create New Calendar near the top right side.

thanks for your time.
in fact my problem was the so called ( "my" project calendar) or (calendar
under use) or ( current calendar ) ...

and to choose base calendar for "current calendar " i had to go to:
Project > Project Information > calendar : calendar-name

in my case i need: calendar-name = 24 Hours

if i need other types of calendar then i have to do what you mentioned.

thanks agian for your time :)

Glad we got you going in the right direction. Yes, that is another place to
check. My bad, I assumed you already had the correct calendar assigned.
