Worksheet Name

I was looking for help online and saw your answer to a similar question of
mine, but cannot find the answer I need even on the Help Guide...I am trying
to import an Excel file using the Import Wizard..however, when the Map
Tasking dialog window comes up and requires a source name of the worksheet,
then I am completely stumped. I tried putting in a name or using the options
in the drop down list, but to no avail. If you are still able to give me
some direction I would so much appreciate it. I am just learning Project for
a new job, so I sure hope you can help. Thanks for any info.

Newby07,
I have no idea which "answer" you are referring to - all I see is your
question. However, in order to import Excel data into Project, that
Excel data must reside in an Excel Workbook. That workbook has a name
and one specific worksheet of that workbook is the data you want. The
import wizard is asking for the name of that worksheet. Without it,
Project doesn't "know" where to find the data.

Just for reference, since you are new to Project, you might want to go
to our MVP website at: http://www.mvps.org/project/links.htm, and take a
look at fellow MVP, Mike Glen's tutorials. Just click on the button for
