I re-installed Works, and now I can't find the MS Works Word Processor, which
most of my saved documents are in. They won't open in Word. How do I either
get the word processor back, or get them to open?

Word will open Works documents. In Word, click open, files of type, scroll down to
the relevant Works.

Mary, Thanks for the reply. You guided me in the right direction, but here is
what I had to do---open Word; go to File, Open; change the Files of Type to
All Files; find my file through My Documents then click on it; a window
telling me Word needs to use a Works 6.0 text converter comes up, and wants
to make sure this is not a malicious file, so then I click Yes, and the file
opens. The next time I want to open it, I have to go through the same
procedure again. I wish I could just click on my document and it would open
in Word, but at least I am able to access it. Any idea how to permanently
convert it to a Word doc so I can save time? kimmaree

File, Save As.
