Wroking with Header and Footer, computer is hangout

when i use header and footer in a document, word stuck and ASCII formating is appear, after pressing ctrl, alt and del keys, it shows document not running. After end task the document it close the word also.Please advice

Crashes of this type are often caused by a corrupt template or add-in. Start
Word from the Windows start > run menu option with the command Winword /a
and see if the problem remains. If it is clear, then rename your normal.dot
template to oldnormal.dot, remove any add-in templates from the word and
office startup folders, and if running Norton AV, uncheck its office plug-in
option. Finally the crashes will have left behind all kinds of junk on your
hard drive that will make matters worse. See
