XLSTART problem

We have a server with 7 computers attached. The files themselves are all
automatically saved on the servers m:/ drive no matter which comupter is
saving an excel spreadsheet.

Each person has a timesheet which they open at their station. The
timesheets are on pivot tables which connect to another file on the m:/ drive
[M:Jobs]. Part of the pivot table is referencing another file in the same
location as the timesheets. So if someone types in a number in one cell it
automatically goes to the file and picks up a name and inserts it in the next
column. At the end of the worksheet is another spreadsheet which pivots all
the tables and adds up the hours for each number. As payroll manager I must
open all timesheets at my workstation, make some changes, save and close.
However, after I have done this, when someone goes to their timecard and
opens it, it asks if they wish to update, (they do) but then it also says in
needs to edit links. When you update the link to the M:Jobs file and click
ok, it then says it cannot find the pivot table M:Jobs.

The problem as I have found it is that when I open another persons timecard,
it is changing the pivot table M:Jobs to 'C:\Documents and
Settings\JDickson\Application
Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART\Employees\Timecards\2005\[JOBLIST-2005.xls]JOBS'!$A$5:$C$300.
I can go to their workstation and fix the problem, but the minute I open the
timecard from my station it reverts back to the c:\ location. I have deleted
the XLSTART folder but it automatically makes a new one.

How can I stop this issue from happening. I would like it to quit
automatically changing my pivot table references. Thanks, JL
