XP and Publisher

Which versions of Publisher work with XP? I tried to
install the one that game with my Gateway which ran
Windows 95 and it didn't go. I don't use the program
very much, just to make cassette and CD labels, so I
would like to buy an older version on eBay but don't want
to buy one that is not compatable with XP.
Thank you

As Brian will concur, /all/ versions of Publisher install and run flawlessly
under XP. You cannot install the one that came with your Gateway on any
other system as it's what is known as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
and the EULA restricts it to installation on that system and that system
only.

What do you mean when you say "It didn't go"?
Do you have the install disks?

I have a copy of Publisher 2.0a that I used on
Windows 3.1 and it runs fine on WinXP. I'm
pretty sure that all versions run on WinXP.
