XP SP3 Fails - 1311 source file not found office1.cab

My SP3 consistantly fails with the error:

1311 source file not found E:\office1.cab

Of course, the Office CD is IN drive E, and office1.cab
IS on the drive. (I seem to have this problem on EVERY
Microsoft product.)

Usually I can get around this by copying the CD to the hard
drive, at which point the install usually works. But this
does not work for office as it insists on looking at E:\
What is the problem here?? It is a PITA to have to copy
installation CDs to the hard drive just to get them to work.

What is the solution?
(Note, I can read the file just fine on the CD with WIndows
explorer - so it is not a drive problem.)

Hey Todd , I had the same problem...inevitably had to download the "FULL
FILE" from office site!...It works!
