Zoom in/out of MS Project

Can I zoom in and out of an MS Project 2003 project such that I can change
the number of rows I can see? This is not to be confused with changing the
timescale to months, weeks, days, etc. I know I can zoom in print preview,
but I want to know if it is possible to zoom in and out in the project view.

Not really. Or at least not the same way you can zoom a word document or
excel spreadsheet. The closest you can get is to use a big font which will
increase the row size.
