Inconsistant Earned Value Calculations

I am using fixed duration, not effort driven task type and physical %
complete.
BCWS for a task does not always match the sum of the BCWS for the
resources
BCWP for a task does not always match the sum of the BCWS for the
resources

Does anybody have any knowledge on this?

This could happen if the baseline was changed. When you set a full baseline,
then set a partial baseline as part of a change management methodology, the
task/resource BCWS can get out of sync.
