10 Mb Limitation Word Perl Win32

I am using active Perl to generate a mailing document using Word. I found out
that the document stops adding new entries when it is close to 10 Mb, Is
there a workaround? Any help will be appreciated.

Create several, smaller, documents.

I did that, I was splitting the document. Looking around I found that after
page 22 (so it was not dependent on the 10 Mb but rather on the page count)
it was locking the file, so it did not let me save it. What I did was switch
naming the files from page 22 onwards. So I open the document with 01, save
it as 02, open it as 02 and save it as 01 and so on. And it has worked pretty
well.
