Working in 2007. Example as follows.
Task A is a fixed units, non effort driven task, not logically linked to any
other task (basically LOE) .
Task A has 2 resources assigned to it.
At the end of the first month of the task, actual work is entered. Say 10
hours for Resource A and 0 hours for Resource B.
Calculation for remaining work for Resource A is fine. 10 hours appear as
actual for month one and for "work" for month one.
Remaining work for Resource B calculates fine sometimes and sometimes not.
Sometimes a zero appears in the "work" row in the spreadsheet for month one,
sometimes not.
If a zero is entered into month two for Resource B, MSP sort of wigs out and
populates the "work" row with strange numbers for the entire duration of the
task, beginning with month one.
Has anyone else seen this? I asked this question on April 2nd and Jim
Aksell attempted to help. Have returned from out of town assignment and
addressing this problem again.
Reinstalling the software has made no difference. Also have SP1.
