a few questions about outlook xp

I have a few questions for the outlook expert outthere... :p

1) Is there a way with outlook xp so that instead of receiving a
message in the main inbox such as:
"Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients."
(for example with a relay denied)
a window pops up telling about it, and the message stays in the outbox
instead of disappearing from there?
(it is important when using IMAP accounts and sending email)
I wish the email would stay in the "outbox" folder until it's really
sent. (like with most email clients)

2) How can I force outlook to always display the email address of
people in the to and cc fields (name plus email is acceptable)?

3) when using imap accounts and being disconnected, I can do "file /
connect to <account" in the menu in order to connect to this account.
But how can I disconnect from it? The only way I've found is to
deselect "work offline" then reselect it. But it then connects all the
IMAP accounts I have, whereas I just want to disconnect the email
account I've connected to through this menu.

thanks

Thanks for your answer. (I've just come back from out of town)

too bad. is it possible with outlook 2003?
2) You can't.
argggg... same question. is it possible with outlook 2003?
3) You can't disconnect a single account.

so why do we have the option to connect a single account (from the
file/ Connect to <account>) if we can't disconnect a single account?

thanks for your help.

None of these are possible in Outlook 2003, either, I'm afraid. Very little
work was put into IMAP in this release, as it is the least-used of the
protocols in Outlook.
