After searching through most of the threads dealing with locked offices,
without any answer that would help me, I've decided to post my own question
up.
I have activated my Office, and I did so a while ago... only last week I was
able to type up documents, however now whenever I open the application, it
pauses for a moment, then in a short time it disables everything. Just before
you start asking me...
1) The product has been ACTIVATED using a paid for activation code
2) Whenever I go to the resources tab in Word Options, and I click on
activate, it starts to seemingly do something, causing the specific window to
freeze for a moment, however it does not pull out a pop-up that notifies me
of whether the product has been activated or not
3) I have tried the command in run (Winkey+r), then typing in winword /a,
with no avail
4) I do recieve the error notice on the bottom of the screen: "This
modification is not allowed because the selection is locked"
5) I have tried to set the properties of the program to allow my username
full rights, however it did not seem to affect the program's start in any way
