By default Accept Labels in Formulas in unchecked in the
workbook. Is there any way of making the default so it is
checked for all users. Without using AD

Many thanks

On my system (running XL97), this feature is checked/enabled by default. So it
appears either that this varies by version, or it can be set by some registry
setting. I'd guess it could be done with some bitfield in the Options5 or
Options6 values, but I'm not going to guess any further until I read an Excel 5
or later README file. Perhaps this information is included in the Office
ValuePack. However, if it is a Registry setting, the only way to change it on
all users' machines would be to propagate such a registry setting change using
whatever software distribution system you have.

What's AD?
