Access 2003 Problem - Please help!!

We use a database written in Office 97 we have successfully converted it to
2003 format and everything runs fine EXCEPT on the old version we could have
more than one person in the database at a time. Since the conversion we can
only have 1 user accessing the database at once. Is there a way around this??
Please help this is really cutting down on the productivity of our office.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
