Access Privileges

I had a few PowerPoint files saved on my pc in my office. That computer
crashed, bit we had backed the Hard Drive info up using a program called
ghost.

But now when I try to access those files on the new Hard Drive, t says I
don't have access privileges. Is there any way to get around that? Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

This is not really a PowerPoint question, it is a Windows ownership problem.
You need to take ownership of the files. Now, that being said, I will
promptly admit I am completely out of my element. I will bow out so that
another user may continue the help.

You can (I can't believe I'm going to recommend this (Help so often doesn't,
but in this case ...)) open the Start => Help button and type in Ownership.
The first item under Microsoft Knowledge Base heading should be How to take
ownership of files or folders in Windows XP.
