Access Question

I have an Access database with forms and queries. I have a query set up that
accepts a word from a form and selects data from a table using the word. At
present the user opens the form and inputs the word and clicks a button which
run the query. The problem I have is this. I would like the form to open if
the user clicks on the query. At present it just opens a dialog box with the
syntax of the criteria in it which is rather cryptic for the user to
understand. Is there any way to do this? Thanks for any replies.
