Accessing a enterprise custom field

Hi
I have created an enterprise custom field for the task entity within project
server 2007. Using the PSI i can see that this custom field has been created.
However I cannot figure out how to update this field with data? (Via the PSI)

Can someone please help me with this?. I would be much appreciated.
