Accurate placing of text boxes

I am trying to place text boxes on top of a scanned form but cannot get the
accuracy sufficient. Is there a setting somehere that would allow a more
precise movement of these boxes?

Another way is from the Drawing toolbar: Draw | Grid: Turn off 'Snap objects
to grid', and 'Snap objects to other objects'.
