cannot activate product

I am trying to activate the Microsoft Office 2003 and it will not let me
activate. It keeps telling me I don't have an internet connection. I'm with
comcast cable and I do have a connection so now what? Is this a Microsoft
problem?

You may want to check your privacy/firewall product settings.
It may not be allowing the connection to pass through
to the internet. You can choose telephone activation
on a non-trial copy of Office as an alternative.
