Activation Question

Okay, my parents just bought a new computer and bought Office 2003 Basic
Edition with it and everything works fine (and is activated). Now, I tried
to install it on our other computer and it wouldn't activate. I read EULA
and yeah it says I can't distribute the product, but technically I'm not, I'm
just installing another copy on another computer my parents own (it would be
different if I gave it to my friend let's say). I see how they're trying to
prevent piracy, but this is going on both MY PARENTS' computers, who bought
the product. Is there anyway I can actually activate it on the 2nd computer?
Isn't it kind of cheap that they might have to waste another $130 just to
put it on a 2nd computer of theirs?

They should have purchased the student & teacher edition - I am presuming that you are a student - it can be installed on 3 computers.

well, i'm a comp sci major in college so it's all good...but it's not that
big of a deal. They can live with it.
