Active cell in Task Usage View

Hello,

I am trying to capture some information in the right pane of the Task
Usage View after the user has made changes to the single cells.
The problem is that if the user does not make the right selection in
the task table on the left side, the information I get from the object
model are totally wrong compared to the task the user is actually
changing in the right pane.

Does anyone know how to make sure the selection on the right pane is
correspondant to the selection on the left pane?

Thanks for helping!

Hi,

I don't know a way to capture the selection in the right pane.
But the TaskBeforeChange Event of the Application events can tell you which
task has changed.

Hello Jan,

in fact I know that the TaskBeforeChange Event should tell me which
task I am modifying, the problem is that the active selection
considers only the cell on the left side (the "table" part so to say)
and not the selection on the left side!!

If any one can help .... you are more than welcome!

Claudia
