active-x controls?

When I first run IE and point to the project server url
for the first time, IE confirms EULA, then
downloads 'stuff' (active-x controls I assume). Once
downloaded, things run great. How can I force a machine
that has previously downloaded these components to reset,
and re-download these components? In other words,
something got hosed on my machine, and when I log on to
the project server, I get an error message when I navigate
to "projects" or "resources". It says "problems with this
page might prevent it from being displayed properly...".
I believe if I could simply reset IE so that it thinks it
has never logged on to project server, it will re-download
the necessary components. No other machine in our office
has a problem connecting or viewing pages in project
server. Thanks in advance for any help / suggestions.

These controls are stored in your downloaded program files folder which
should be in your windows (or whatever it is called on your machine) folder.
Delete the ones with PJ in their name. Then try and log- in.
I think you may be able to do this from windows explorer, but if that
doesn't work, open a command prompt (AKA DOS window) go to the folder and
delete them.
