Actual Finish not rolling up into Summary Tasks

Q

Quirky

Hi

My Actual finish dates are not rolling up into the summary tasks where it
says N/A all the tasks have finished but it doesn't update them.

Is there anyway of doing this manually

Thank you in anticipation

Quirky,
Why would you expect Actual Finish to roll up to the summary line?
Normally, a summary line will have more than one subtask. Each subtask
will have a unique actual finish. So which subtask's actual finish do
you want at the summary line?\

Thanks John

I thought it would say when this work package was actually complete. To be
honest I am having a bit of a nightmare as it seems that none of EVA figures
are updating either? BCWP ACWP & BCWS are all £0? Could this have anything to
do with the milestones in my plan I have them linked to tasks! I haven't a
clue to be honest I have tried to track it again but still no luck

Please Help!!

James,
If you are using the summary line as the work package, then yes, the
Actual Finish will display when all performance tasks are 100% complete.
I suspect one of two things. Either you do not have calculation set for
automatic (Tools/Options/Calculation tab), or one or more of the
performance tasks is not complete.

With regard to earned value. First, a baseline must have been set in
order for earned value metrics to calculate. Second, if calculation is
set for manual, the metrics will not calculate until you hit F9.

Hope this helps.
