Hi, is there a way to programatically (using vbs or plain old vb 6) to add a
new internet email service in outlook? (specificially 2000, but genearlly
2000 and up?) I want as little user interaction as possible!

Don't post in multiple groups.

The only way to manipulate an Outlook profile is with Extended MAPI,
which can only be programmed using C++ or Delphi. You might want to
look at the information about Profman (the Profiles button) at
www.dimastr.com/redemption which provides a COM object that can be
used from VB/VBA.
