add contacts from a shared folder outlook 2003

can someone tell me if i can do the following?

1. i am allowed access to another persons inbox
2. from that inbox i would like to add contacts for that
person

if this can be done, how do i do it?

The other person has to grant you permissions to do this in that mailbox's
contacts folder. Having rights to the Inbox won't do it...

Note that this would be best posted in microsoft.public.exchange.clients
and/or microsoft.public.outlook.
