add info to animated slide

Hi Group...

PPT can be humbling. I made a slide with several bulleted headings,
inserted pictures between two of them, arranged them to come out in
order with the animation, and all seemed well.

But now I want to add another bulleted item. But I can't see the
bullets because the pictures cover them, except when in slide show
mode. I can't figure out how to temporarily put the pictures in the
background and let me add items to the bulleted list. The "layer
manager" in PP tools doesn't seem to help, or I don't know how to use
it.

Many thanks.

Best way I know of to fix the problem? Select the pictures and drag them off
the slide to the grey area around the slide. Change your text. Drag the
pictures back on the slide. Bingo - all ready to show :)

Hi Kathy. I think you advised me of a similar solution to a slightly
different problem in the past. I must have forgotten.
I do appreciate your suggestion, and I'll try it right away.

Thanks again.

Kathy...It worked! But you should remind any others you give this
advice to that you must "shrink" your pictures before scooting them
over to the side so you can work on the bulleted items. At least for
me it wouldn't work without doing so.
Thanks again. (Now I've got a couple of more questions to post
separately.)
