Add-ins hangs...

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I've written some of my own functions which I need to use in different sheets. Recently when I open these sheets, Excel hangs. So I start it with the shift key down, add in the add-ins, then open my worksheets, but it still hangs. Are Add-ins too flaky for real use on Macs? The Analysis package ones don't have this problem, so why do my own? They're not complex - just a few "IF"s and the odd bit of arithmetic... In Excel 2003, they work OK.

Excel is fully updated, so is Mac OSX...

Impossible to say without seeing your code. Are these VBA addins?

We need to SEE the code, mate.

Excel 2004 is two levels behind Excel 2003 in VBA, there are some functions
you could be using that will hang it.

Cheers

Yes they are VBA - 20 lines max.
