Add macros to a menu

its me again ....... I am trying to get to grips with this new version
(2007). Is there any way of adding macros to a menu. I have found how you
can add a macro to the quick access bar, but I can't give them a name, they
just appear as a symbol. I can see how you can change the appearance of the
symbol, but that is all. I have been used to putting a menu in Word 2003
and listing the named macros that run templates etc. Is there any way of
doing this. Would be grateful for some help again please.

Thank you Jay, will examine that. I realised you could not put a menu up,
but thought someone may know a way of doing it, or a good workaround.

I often create a toolbar with the list of macros and buttons on it in Word 2003. Opening and using this in Word 2007 lists the macros in the add-in menu. Most macros run without issue in this way. You can write the macros in 2007, but without the toolbar, the macros can only be assigned to the quick menu, which isn't the best solution. The interface is cluttered enough without adding to the quick menu.

Well, maybe you have noticed that Word 2007 does not have any menus...
