Added gmail to outlook but no gmail folder

I have a gmail account & want to run it through outlook,have added the
account but no Gmail folder appears in my Favourite Folder?

POP3 accounts don't add their own folder sets to your folder tree. Only IMAP
& HTTP mail accounts do that. If you'd like your GMail to go to a different
folder you can use the Rules Wizard for that.
