Adding single record to existing archive.

Neil

It seems it's not possible to add a single record to a new or existing
archive. The only option is to create an archive of the entire workspace?

The same applies when using the Groove SDK?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Neil,

Not sure to understand what you mean by "Add a single record to a new
archive" but :
- yes, when you create an archive, it's for the entire workspace.
- yes, there's no mean to directly update an existing archive file.

But, using Groove Web Services, you can programmatically :
- restore an existing archive (as a new workspace)
- add a new entry
- save as archive again
- delete the restored workspace

Thanks for helping out. I was hoping to achieve what you described
programmatically, but hadn't thought about doing it that way. It's a little
bit more laborious than I was hoping for, but it should work.

Thanks a lot.
