Adding task scheduled by end date to a project scheduled by start

Peter Rooney

I know this might be a daft question, but is it possible.
I have a programme plan - that is a Project plan that contains lots of sub
projects.
It was created by my predecessor and was (I presume) scheduled by Start Date.

I want to change one of the sub projects so that I specify an end date for
the last task, and it works backwards to tell me the latest date I can start
the project to achieve the desired end date.

Is this possible?

Will this question generate more abuse than my tiny ego can handle?

WIRTMF (Wish I'd read the manual first)

This newsgroup is for questions about Publisher. Perhaps you wanted Project?

JoAnn,

You're absolutely correct - I must have clicked the wrong shortcut from
favourites and never even noticed.
Thanks for your assistance!
