Additional instalation on Laptop - Office 2003

One install on Desktop - just putting the additional install on my Laptop.
I've got all the settings saved in a file which I will transfer. My question
is concerning Outlook. As I leave a copy of the mails on the server, having
downloaded copies to the current pst file, how do I stop the new install of
Outlook on the laptop downloading them all again?
