Aligning text below task bar

Tony

Is there a way to change the alignment of the text arount the task bar. I'm
trying to show the resources assigned to each task below the task bar, and
some are getting cut off. (They appear to all be centered on the task bar)

Thanks.

If I am understanding it correctly you want the resource name to appear below
the Task bar in the Gantt Chart area

Right Click ( anywhere in Gantt Chart Area ) > Bar Styles

On the tab select TEXT

Remove Resource names from the right row and type resource names column in
the below area.

I tried with 30+ letters and even if you shrink the task duration from 20
days to 2 days the full 32 characters display

Format/Bar Styles....
When you select a bar style (say a normal task), you can pull the text tab
at the bottom of the window and then choose the text you wish to appear in
various locations.

If there is too much text, you can format the text itself. Format/Text
Styles....
In the very top of that window you will be able to select the specific text
you wish to format, the default is "all" which is not what you want. Hit the
drop down and select something like "Bar Text - Bottom" and then select a
smaller font size, color, formatting, etc. A smaller font size will let you
jam in more information.
