All attached files in mail are sent as zips instead of

[salvey]

All the email the client sends with attachments convert
the attached files to zip format. I reinstalled Office
2002 to no avail. The file type settings are set properly
as well in my computer. Any ideas?

By any chance do you have QuickView Plus installed? I understand that
it zips attachments before sending...

And you checked WinZip to make sure there's nothing set to automatically
zip attachments? If there isn't, I don't have an answer for you...but
if I find one, I'll let you know. Outlook doesn't zip anything by
itself, so something else must be doing it.
